Terms and Conditions for bookings through TweakMyTrip

1. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with TweakMyTrip Tours & Travels, a tour operator registered in India. By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before you book.

(a) Booking and Payment.  To book a tour with us, you need to fill out our online booking form and pay a deposit of 20% of the total cost of trip per person. The deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. Another 30% is to be paid before 15 days of the trip. The balance of the tour price is due 01 day before the departure date. If you fail to pay the balance on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

(b) Cancellation & Refund Policy. We understand that guests who cancel their reservations do so out of extreme emergencies. However, cancellations are costly to administer and involve precious entrepreneurial time, communications costs and advance purchased bills. Therefore, all cancellations would be charged the following fees:

· Before 30 days: 25% of the tour cost

· 30 – 15 days: 40% of the tour cost

· 14 – 7 days: 80% of the tour cost

· 6 – 3 days 90% of the tour cost

· 2 – 0 days 100% of the tour cost

(c) Please note that no refunds would be made in case a guest fails to join a tour, or joins the tour after the departure or leave the tour before completion. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by accommodation house properties, travel agents or third parties and transport operator cancellation fees. Also, if you wish to cancel your booking, you must 

(d) Cancellation due to Natural Calamities/ Bad Weather/ Snow/ Landslides etc.  If any tour is cancelled/postponed due to natural calamities/ landslides /snowfall/bad weather conditions/road blockade/weather related and such similar conditions beyond our control, no refund would be made. In case a particular location is affected and guest miss a stay at the that location, full cost of the hotel stay would be charged, in addition to tariff of the hotel booked instantly by us for their emergency stay. In these cases, guests can book and pay hotel for emergency stay at their own expenses. If a particular destination is cancelled at last moment, full amount would be charged. This strict policy is applied as nature and its plays are beyond our control. These are rare situations but can happen to anyone, especially during winter months and monsoon season.

(e) Changes by Us  We reserve the right to make changes to any aspect of the tour itinerary, including accommodation, transport, activities, destinations, dates and prices, due to factors beyond our control such as weather, natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances. We will inform you as soon as possible of any significant changes and offer you the following options:

· Accepting the changed arrangements

· Choosing an alternative tour of a similar standard and price (subject to availability)

· Cancelling your booking and receiving a full refund

We are not liable for any additional expenses or losses that you may incur as a result of any changes by us.

(f) Changes by You  If you wish to make any changes to your booking after it has been confirmed, such as changing your travel dates, accommodation or activities, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. You may also have to pay additional fees or charges depending on the nature and extent of the changes.

(g) Travel Documents and Insurance  You are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents such as passports, visas, health certificates and vaccinations for yourself and anyone travelling with you. You must also have adequate travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal liability, cancellation fees and repatriation costs in case of emergency. You must provide us with proof of your insurance policy before departure.

(h) Your Responsibilities.  You are responsible for following all laws and regulations of the countries that you visit during the tour. You must also respect the customs, cultures and environment of the local people and places that you visit. You must behave in a courteous and respectful manner towards other travellers, our staff members, our service providers, and anyone else that you encounter during the tour. You must not engage in any illegal, immoral, or harmful activities that may endanger yourself or others, or damage our reputation or property. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate your participation, or take any other appropriate action if we deem that your conduct is unacceptable or disruptive.

(j) Our Responsibilities.  We are responsible for providing you with all services included in your tour package according to our contract with you. We are not responsible for any services that are not included in your tour package such as flights, transfers, meals, drinks, tips, personal expenses or optional activities. We are also not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death or inconvenience that may occur due to factors beyond our control such as weather, natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies, war, terrorism, strikes, accidents, delays, cancellations, or errors or omissions by third parties.

(i) Complaints Procedure  If you have any complaints about any aspect of our services during the tour, you must inform our local representative or guide immediately so that they can try to resolve it on  the spot. If they cannot resolve it satisfactorily, you must contact us by email or phone within 24 hours so that we can investigate further and take appropriate action. If you fail to do so, we will not accept any liability or responsibility for your losses/ inconvenience.

(k) Flight Booking Policy. Customers shall have to pay 100% of the flight ticket charges in advance to book them air ticket. However, they will pay for the rest of the tour according to above mentioned PAYMENT POLICY. Refund for cancellation of flight tickets would be made according to the airline policies.

(l) Changes to Bookings. In case of a booking alteration, such as change of destination, date or number of persons travelling, TweakMyTrip Tours & Travels and our third party tour operators, reserve the right to charge a fee where applicable.

(m) Conditions of Travel. All the guests are compulsory needed to carry valid photo id along with them. All guests from abroad are needed to carry passport, visa and valid travel documents. 

(n) We would not be responsible for the loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage. The Aboriginal components of our tours are subject to cultural conditions. Participants may be absent due to cultural commitments with minimal prior notification and we reserve the right to amend the itinerary in these circumstances with no obligation to refund.

(o) Child Policy. Children under 5 years (1 child per room) shall not be charged. Children aged 6 to 11 years would be charged 35% of the cost (of parents). Children of 12 years or above in age would be liable to pay the full tour cost. Child Policy of hotels may differ from place to place and same shall be communicated during booking. 

(p) Fitness Policy. Guest who are suffering from asthma, heart diseases or high altitude sickness shall compulsorily consult their doctors before visiting high altitude areas. If a guests suffer from medical problems during tour and are required to cancel their tour, the package cost would not be refunded.
